About
Lifeline 2 Hope Inc. came about during an Anti-Violence Debriefing on the southside of Chicago with four Aldermen, Sect. Arnie Duncan, and seven community based organizations that work in the Englewood community.
The question was asked of us, by Alderman Sawyer, “What do we need?”, and when it was my turn to speak, what came out my mouth was nothing but the Holy Spirit, I said, “We have to
cut off the pipeline to negativity.”
We need to stop the flow of youth joining into the life of gangs and negative activities. We need to help change the mindset of our youth from an early age.
I have been working on the very front lines of Anti-Violence work in Chicago, for over 2 decades and I have seen many people turn their lives around, yet there is still much work to be done; we must continue until we are able to make a significant difference in violence reduction.
The launch of Lifeline 2 Hope Inc. is a vehicle that I believe, will help to reduce the violence by cutting off the supply line.
We believe that all people have a right to the resources needed to be productive members of society; by helping others we can change the world.
Our Mission
